A stunning first generation vintage Longines Conquest 18K rose gold ref 9001 circa 1956. Featuring a 35.5 X 42mm screw back case with wide bezel and screw down case back with enameled embossed Conquest logo. With a very pleasing original 2 tone rose dial with oversized applied faceted rose gold indexes and large tapered rose gold hour and minute hands. The hour marker track of the dial features gorgeous eye catching mirror finish panels. This fine watch is powered by self winding 19AS movement with sweep seconds with an unsigned non original crown. Fitted with a complementary medium padded 17mm crocodile strap. Guaranteed genuine as described, recently fully serviced by one of our veteran watchmakers and offered with a 1 year warranty of accurate timekeeping and operation. A great looking vintage model with a striking and dramatic dial. The Longines Conquest in our opinion is a much underrated and overlooked model and certainly a rival to the Omega Seamasters and Constellations which this model shares similar design elements. While we love the no date Constellations, we are also big fans of the more robust and thicker design case and generally more rugged feel of this Conquest model.
