First, ensure that the firearm is unloaded and the chamber is empty. Always wear safety glasses when working with firearms. Remove the slide from the frame and locate the bar that holds the magazine catch in place within the magwell. Using a pick tool, move the bar to the right side and pull it out through the release notch. Remove the old magazine catch from the right side of the frame and insert the AA Extended Magazine Catch in the same orientation. The tapered push button side allows for easy installation. Push the magazine catch bar spring back through the release notch to secure the AA Extended Magazine Catch in place. Finally, reinstall the slide onto the frame.
