Rolex Sea-Dweller ref# 16600 Tropical Dial Tritium circa 1997

A great looking vintage Rolex Sea-Dweller ref# 16600, serial # U7, circa 1997 with richly patina’d tritium indexes, matching aged pearl, and color matched hands. Featuring a 40mm diameter stainless steel case with unidirectional elapsed time bezel and sapphire crystal, and with original glossy black dial with tritium indexes, and matching tritium hands. The original gloss dial surface has faded a bit with time and is now a more frosty finish with subtle light brown dots evenly distributed across the dial surface. The hour markers have also beautifully aged to a cream patina with considerable aging and lend a distinctive and appealing vintage look. The lume of the hands does not glow under UV light and appear to have been color matched to the dial lume. Powered by self winding calibre 3135 with sweep seconds and quick set date. With correct ref 93160 solid end link (SEL) Rolex stainless steel Oyster bracelet with flip lock clasp. An exceptionally attractive warmly patina’d example. Recently serviced, in excellent mechanical condition, and offered with our 1 year warranty of accurate time keeping and operation. The Seadweller model is a much more scarce model than the similar looking Submariner. The case is a bit thicker and features a helium escape valve.
